Since 2018, we have committed to offering Training Day in addition to conference registration to help more women get trained in the platform in hopes of boosting their careers to the next level.
In reviewing hundreds of scholarship submissions over the past three years, we have learned that it is not simply conference registration fees that impede women from attending. Hotel and travel fees also pose obstacles for many women, even when presented with a scholarship that covers the cost of conference registration.
Beginning in 2019, WITfm committed to not only cover Registration + Training Day, but to also cover basic hotel costs for these scholarship recipients during the conference days.
